the bathroom was not properly cleaned at arrival

Many things in the room were old and even damaged

Rooms were a good size, coffee machine was good, friendliness and helpfulness of staff was good, location was good, could easily rent bikes.

Rooms could have been ever so slightly cleaner, breakfast expensive.

Comfortable. Brilliant location. Lovely breakfast.

Shower pressure was low. Would prefer a walk-in shower as opposed to a shower over a bath. The lighting in the room was very dim.

The male staff at front desk in the evening could learn more about customer service form the female staff and could be more forthcoming. so grumpy each night!

Paid parking ????️ 30€ over night.that wasn't cheapest place where to stay.

Checking in little before midnight went smooth and fast. Friendly staff. Room was definitely okay for the price. awesome movie photo's on thje wall. Explanation which bus to take and other directions the next day again very friendly and corteous. The post graduate course was catered excellent, enough food and drinks. Covid measures with adequate; and distance were applied correctly.

Entrance to the breakfast area was somewhat odd, no signs where to proceed to, nobody to receive the guests and check for proper sanitization, which is very important if guests are using their hands to grab cold cuts etc. Surrounding restaurants where booked, maybe because of Covid.

Position, and the overall aesthetics of the hotel along with the restored rooms. Nice and polite staff. Good wifi and silent rooms with electronic doorlocks.

- Liked Star Wars poster and local actors pics but soul-gazing me in front of my bed is not cool. - Electric switches and illumination points looked like they were installed by a drunk technician, while the shower was on a tub with a hinged glass antisplash panel instead of a regular vertical shower with doors on rails. Such "shield" could rotate by 180° made showering experience uncomfortable, even making me accidentally splash all over the floor. Bathroom was without windows or an electric extractor or a cord near the tub in case of emergency. - No rubberised rug to prevent sliding into the tub so you could slam your head, rip this glass door panel from the wall in panic and smash it over you and die without nobody noticing you're gone for good. According to some friends, these architectural choices are typical in northern Europe countries, so be aware this is common. - Not 100% sure, but I think they sold me a double bed while I got 2 single beds put together. - On a wall there was one door, and behind that door another one, both unlocked and inter-connecting my room with another one which was already taken since who knows when. I had to ask at the reception to send someone to lock both. - Mosquitoes will visit you overnight entering from the air duct if you leave the bathroom door open, even if its Autumn. - Cleaning service didn't check for my room on Monday and apparently my buds in another room didn't receive new clean towels during all the journey. - Cherry on top (I don't blame the staff, they were awesome at all times) was the green-washing management politic about mini-fridges; instead of unplugging them or putting a switch to prevent power consumption while not in use, they decided to brag about being environmentally more friendly by removing them and charging you 10 euro per day to have one in your room.

We had the suite for our wedding night. The suite is roomy and nice. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast in our room was good and luxurious. Checkout was fine.

Checking was very poor. We had been in email contact about some changes, which were confirmed by email but were not actually registered with reception. Checking took 15-20 min, which was silly, and stressful given that we were about to get married. Some of our guests had the same poor experience on the day. We had asked for breakfast in our room in advance but had to sort it out again. This involves filling in a card and hanging it on the hotel room door. However the suite did not have any pens, so I had to go down to reception again. Again a bit weird for an expensive suite. We asked for decaf coffee for breakfast but did not receive it. The showerhead was in bad shape with a lot of calcification blocking the water jets. That’s really not ok in any hotel room, especially in a suite.

Was a good one with good price, very clean, quite and very comfortable .

The bath room could be renewed!

Friendly staff. Very clean. Big room and confortable. Nice place.

Must pay for the car parking.

Excellent location in central Zeist. Breakfast was excellent!
